THE KANGA PROJECT PROVIDES SUPPORT DIRECTLY TO THOSE WHO NEED IT, WANT IT AND WORK FOR IT.

HOSTELS FOR GIRLS in every rural secondary school so that girls who live too far away have the same opportunities. A 60 bed hostel costs as little as £30,000 and can change the lives of hundreds of girls, their families and their community.This hostel, in the village of Ilongero is just short of £7,000 for the amenities block to be finished. EDUCATION AND TRAINING. It costs as little as £2.50 per person for a two day workshop. Over 600 women have so far received education and training in hygiene, family planning, budgeting, self awareness and legal rights. Please help as fund many more. INCOME GENERATING ACTIVITIES AND START UP LOANS for groups only. Women on their own are faced with too many demands and pressure that can easily stop them in their tracks. They believe that a group provides support, additional resources and allows for ‘time off’ when illness, childbirth or death hits a woman’s family.
