                           “Focus for Rural Women Empowerment”

 We work in partnership with the Rural Women Development Association (RWDA) a not for profit Tanzanian Organisation Limited By Guarantee, registered in February 2005 in Tanzania and currently operating in the region of Singida, one of the poorest areas of Tanzania.

The RWDA's  mission is to enhance rural women's position and free them from poverty by promoting better methods of acquiring development. Women are encouraged to form groups and register as members with the RWDA. As members, they learn to express their views, select the projects or issues they wish to work on and thus become empowered and active participants in their future.
