Our objectives

 To provide financial and technical support to the Rural Women Development Association, first and foremost. Once the Association becomes self-financing, we envisage to support other associations devoted to raising the standards of living of their communities.

The goals of such organisations must include (but not exclusively).

·          The teaching of critical awareness and the concept of empowerment.

·          The translation of ideas into feasible projects through the development of technical and managerial skills.

·          The development of systems of cooperation and the provision of micro finance.

·          The critical assessment of needs and issues of communities and the elaboration of sound policies and proposals that can be successfully argued at all political levels.

To expand the financing and part financing of the building of hostels to accommodate girls wishing to pursue a secondary education.

To provide bursaries towards the costs of a university education.

To provide bursaries towards the costs of professional and technical diplomas.

To search and place English speaking volunteer teachers in both primary and secondary schools.

To search and place volunteers with special skills at the request of our partners.
