Our mission statement

 To reduce poverty, particularly among rural women in Africa by providing training and education and promoting self reliance.
To promote and facilitate the education of girls from primary to tertiary levels.
To promote, for the benefit of the public, sustainable development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs (World Commission on Environment and Development, Our Common Future, 1987), by:

• The relief of poverty and the improvement of the conditions of life in socially and disadvantaged communities.
• The promotion of sustainable means of achieving economic growth and regeneration that take into account the preservation, conservation and the protection of the environment and the prudent use of resources.
• The relief of sickness and the preservation of health among people residing permanently or temporarily in Africa, in particular but not exclusively by the provision of water sanitation, health care and such other assistance as the trustees may from time to time determine.
• To satisfy such other charitable purposes as the Charity shall from time to time determine.
