NEWSROOM

We will try to keep you updated and hopefully entertained with snippets of news from Tanzania and from our fundraising activities here.
We would also like you to use this space as a billboard. So if there is anything you’d like us to mention, please send us an e-mail and we’ll put it on.   When we’ve mastered our new website, we’ll set up a forum and message board for all to use.

SOME PEOPLE DO AMAZING THINGS AND OTHERS ARE JUST AMAZING

Our latest volunteer working in Tanzania is Jane Davies from Australia, or Janey as she likes to be called. She set off for the village of Ilongero, near Singida, in late August and will be helping out until the end of October.  Check her blog http://janey-singida.blogspot.com  for regular news and some insights in what it’s really like to get involved at the grassroots level. Talk about getting stuck in!!

And in January, Singida will be welcoming Beth Temple, also from Australia. Have the Australians a bigger heart than us??

We Brits seem to prefer home challenges. A big thank you and lots of good luck to Corinne and Katie who are doing a 12 mile walk dressed up as a chicken and egg on 11th October. We’ve got bets on whose going to come first. Check our current events page for the full story and sponsorship details.

And in November, our latest runner is going to be Michael Bailey who is attempting Norwich half marathon in November. Thanks Michael and get into training! Check him out and sponsor him on www.mycharitypage.com/MichaelBailey/

So how about you?
