Altrincham Festival 4th July 2009

The Altrincham Festival will be the launching platform of Together4Africa, a coalition of small Northwest Charities supporting grassroots organisations in Africa.  See www.together4africa.org

Our motto is “Together We Can” and we are really excited about the Altrincham Festival because we are convinced that with our dedication, the support of businesses and the local people’s help and generosity on July 4^th, we will make a difference. We hope that you will be able to come and support us in the parade where we will attempt to follow the dance routine of our African dancers and drummers, so plenty of fun ahead. We have also put together a great stand at the Festival Showground on Beechfields Recreation Ground in Timperley because we want to show you that size really does not matter. In fact, we have adopted a great little quote from Betty Reese that sums it up: “And if you think we are too small to be effective, you have never been in bed with a mosquito!”

Besides, the Altrincham Festival promises to be a tasty launch for Together4Africa as, among other things, we are teaming up with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to help everyone munch along in support!
